THE EMPTY TOMB
Look! The tomb is empty our Lord is not here (1)
An angel in white garments told them not to fear.
Jesus appeared and said look at my hands, See my wounded feet. (2)
He asked them for food and they gave him fish to eat
He said why do you doubt that it is really I? (3)
Was it not written that I would suffer these things and die?
He told the disciples to go and preach the Good News
To everyone and everywhere. (4)
Then Jesus was taken up to heaven in the air.
Jesus lives and sits at the Father’s right hand. (5)
He has conquered evil and has saved man.
