WE HARE FAILING OUR KIDS AND GRANDKIDS

OUR COUNTRY AND CONGRESS CONTINUES TO FAIL US...

Tom Coburn...Oklahoma Senator is currently doing an investigation of continued government waste. These are the a few notes I was able to take down...but this is just the tip of the craziness that goes on and was passed with the stimulus package that was voted in the middle of the night.

$3 billion in waste for National Science Funding...Shrimp running on treadmills - can anyone even come up with a reason for that???

$16.5 billion work of congressional Pork

$18 million stimulus check to prisoners that are dead

$434 million on wasteful stimulus projects

$24 billion Medicare and Medicaid waste

Why are we paying for illegal immigrants medical bills when we are not meeting the medical, physical, or spiritual needs of the guys and gals of our military? Many of them are living on the streets. Many of them are dying waiting for the government to pay for their surgeries? Let's get our heads out of the sand and be aware of what is going on in our government. Unfortunately we are leaving a mess to our kids and grand kids, but this generation of young folks need to get busy and help themselves out of this mess. It doesn't matter if you are a Democrat or a Republican, read and research what is going on...don't listen to far left loons, or far right crazies. Be informed, be enlightened, get involved, start caring about your kids future. Start caring about God and Country...because without Him there is no 'ONE NATION UNDER GOD."

A GLIMPSE OF HEAVEN

A GLIMPSE OF HEAVEN

We get a glimpse of heaven every time a new babe is born. (1)
We get a glimpse of heaven when the sun breaks through the morn. (2)

We get a glimpse of heaven in the wild flowers of the valley’s and field.
We get a glimpse of heaven when a loved one is ill and suddenly is healed. (3)

We get a glimpse of heaven in the colors painted across the sky. (4)
We get a glimpse of heaven every time we watch a bird fly.

We get glimpse of heaven as our children walk down the wedding aisle.
We get a glimpse of heaven through a child’s giggle and innocent smile (5)

We get a glimpse of heaven through the billions of stars spread across the sky. (6)
We get a glimpse of heaven at night with a brightly lit moon placed on high. (7)

We get a glimpse of heaven on Christmas when we celebrate the birth of our Lord. (8)
We get a glimpse of heaven from His Word with the promise that everything will be restored.

We get a glimpse of heaven because that is all our minds can comprehend. (9)
We get a glimpse of heaven to give us eternal hope until time itself will end. (10)

We get a glimpse of heaven in the book of Matthew and what we will one day become. 11)
We get a glimpse, only a glimpse, of heaven in Revelation of what is yet to come.

IN GOD'S PERFECT TIME - not in my book

IN GOD’S PERFECT TIME

God told us that there is a time for every season. (1)
He provided His Holy Word so we can understand the reason.

He convicts men's hearts and minds through prayer.
He shows justice and mercy for all those who care. (2)

He lifts our spirit and places us where we need to be.
He answers our requests and listens to our every plea.

He is there to guide us down the narrow road.
He is our refuge and shares our heavy load. (3)

He wants to save all those who have lost their soul. (4)
He shed His blood to make us whole. (5)

He is there when we are weary and spent.
He holds us in his arms when we repent.

He is the only one that knows when time is right. (6)
He is aware of all our needs and of our plight.

He died at the appointed time on Calvary’s tree. (7)
He died taking on all our sins so we could be free.

He will save man and restore peace as this is His plan. (8)
In God’s perfect time He created man and time began. (9)

REAPING THE JOYS OF THE LORD

REAPING THE JOYS OF THE LORD

When you reap the joys of the Lord.
Eternal life will be your reward.

There can be joy in loving the contemptible neighbor. (1)
Allowing the Lords light to shine is worth the labor.

Jesus said they will know who you are by your behavior. (2)
What you say or do may bring lost sheep to the Savior.

The Lord says love each other and keep your spirit gentle. (3)
The people you meet through life may not be coincidental.

We are all responsible to be our brother’s keeper. (4)
Your obedience in the Lord will grow even deeper. (5)

There is joy in worship through dance and song. (6)
You can have peace and contentment all the daylong.

Reaping the joys of the Lord can be ours while we are here. (7)
Loving wil bring joy and the Bible makes that perfectly clear. (8)

BLESSED BE THE MOTHER OF OUR LORD - MY POEM

BLESSED BE THE MOTHER OF OUR LORD

Blessed was the Mother of Jesus Christ among all women ever. (1)
Blessed was she who gave birth to our Lord who lives forever. (2)

Blessed was Mary the young girl who was appointed to raise God’s Son.
Blessed was she who watched over him till His sacrifice was done. (3)

Blessed was Mary for God saw the innocence and beauty of her soul. (4)
Blessed was she because she knew one day every believer would be whole.

Blessed was Mary that she alone was chosen for such a commission. (5)
Blessed was she who witnessed the miracles of Jesus Christ’s mission. (6)

Blessed was May who guarded the child until he came of age and into His own. (7)
Blessed was she who loved Jesus from birth till death, and now He sits upon the throne. (8)
