THE NINE GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
1 Corinthians 12: 8-10
The first is the gift of Wisdom and the way to receive it is through prayer.
Solomon prayed for this gift so he could rule his kingdom without despair.
There are diversities of the nine gifts of the Holy Spirit but all are one part.
Paul reminds us we have different members but are baptized in one heart.
The second is the gift of Knowledge, which gives wise advice that is sound.
The third is the gift of Faith that God’s Word without doubt will abound.
The forth is the gift of Healing for people who are physically or mentally sick.
The fifth is the gift of working Miracles that the Apostles did without a trick.
The sixth is the gift of Prophecy and preaching the Good News of man’s salvation.
The seventh is the gift of Discerning Spirits whether they are from a good or evil creation.
The eighth is the gift of Tongues that is languages never learned or heard.
The ninth is the gift of Interpretation of tongues, a gift that is preferred.

Does God Exist? - complex question...simplistic answer
God: Does He Exist?
God may not be provable through mathematical formulae or properties of physics, but we live in an era where the evidence of God is all around us. Just look through the Hubble Telescope and peer to the edge of the massive cosmos. View the monitor of an electron-scanning microscope and delve into the intricate world of an organic cell. Sit down and read an entire library of information that reveals the complexity of the digital code that turns a fertilized egg into a human being. Study principles of quantum mechanics and investigate the world of extra-dimensionality. Review the nature of your conscience, subconscious, standards of morality, thoughts of religion. Then, try to reconcile all of these realities with a basic theory of randomness. Not believing in God is much more of a “leap of faith” than ever.
God - A brief summary of the key arguments:
Order... God provides the best explanation for abstract notions, such as numbers, formulas and properties.
Causation. God provides the best explanation for the existence of the universe and all that is in it.
Design... God provides the best explanation for the complex order in cosmological and biological entities.
Morality... God provides the best explanation for the existence of objective moral/ethical values in the world. In Romans 5:12, we read that “sin entered the world through one man, and through sin - death, and thus death has spread through the whole human race because everyone has sinned.”
God: If He Exists, What is He Like?
God has been described as everything from an impersonal “life force” to a personal Creator, from Mother Nature to Almighty Lord. While mankind creates various characters for God over time, we should actually look to the timeless standards of truth already delivered in the Bible. Of course, one must establish the credibility and reliability of the Bible before endeavoring to define God through the Bible. Well, like no time in history, we have established the truth of the Biblical record. Just explore the archaeological treasures that establish the veracity of Biblical events. Review the recently discovered manuscripts, such as the Dead Sea Scrolls, which prove the reliability of the Biblical texts. Study the over 600 fulfilled prophecies contained in Biblical scripture, including the actual fulfillment of prophecy in Israel over the last few decades. Read the Bible itself as an intellectual undertaking and discover the inherent complexity and integration contained in its 66 books, written by 40 inspired authors, over a period of approximately 1,600 years.
God:
You Will Discover His True Nature in the Bible God -- Once you’ve established that the Bible is a credible and reliable document, this is the first place to look for His true character and attributes. As you explore the Bible, you will discover His unchanging nature. God is Spirit – infinite and eternal. God is sovereign. God is omnipotent (all-powerful), omniscient (all-knowing) and omnipresent (all places at all times). God is perfectly holy and perfectly just. God is wisdom, power, glory, righteousness, mercy, faithfulness, goodness, beauty, and patience. God is love. God is truth

PEACE AND JOY
Lord, restore peace in our hearts and joy in our soul. (l)
Help us to remember you are always in control. (2)
Sometimes we forget that your Spirit dwells within us. (3)
We get lost in life and fail to give you our faith and trust. (4)
We become overwhelmed with the worlds situation. (5)
We mourn for the lost people of each generation. (6)
Grant us the peace that passes all understanding. (7)
Give us joy in a ruthless world that’s so demanding.
Rekindle the fire where there was once a burning flame. (8)
Help us win the good fight and give voice to all you proclaim. (9)
When our burdens are heavy Lord please lighten our load. (10)
When we travel a bent and curvy lane straighten the road. (11)
When our hearts hurt and we feel saddened with grief.
Help us remember that we are but a mist and time is brief. (12)
When we feel sorrow and fear that this too shall not pass.
Lord, restore our faith and know that you will come alas. (13)

WHO IS JESUS? By Estelle P. Shrum.
WHO IS JESUS?
Who was called the ROCK and a Mighty Fortress, a Refuge and a Deliverer, a Savior and a Shield? (1)
Who was the Spiritual ROCK that scattered the bodies in the desert for their
sins and did not yield? (2)
Who was the Everlasting Father, the Wonderful Counselor, and the Prince of
Peace? (3)
Who will reign on David’s throne and have a government that will greatly increase?
Who was the man who had risen and was exalted to God’s right hand?
Who was the PRINCE that was given authority to forgive sins across the land? (4)
Who will gather the people of Israel as a Shepherd tending to His sheep? (5)
Who said I Am the good Shepherd and I will lay down my life for the flock I keep? (6)
Who said He would raise up a fertile crop and a people so all will know they are mine? (7)
Who was the man who said my Father is the Gardener and I AM the True Vine? (8)
Who said make a light unto the Gentile nations one the will shine ever so bright? (9)
Who said I AM the Light of the world and can turn your dark desire into doing what’s right? (10)
Who was the King of Glory riding on a donkey into Jerusalem? (11)
Who was King of Kings the great God above all of them? (12)
Who was the LAMB, SAVIOR, REDEEMER, TEACHER, and HOLY GHOST?
Who was JEHOVAH, HOLY SPRIT, MASTER, GOD and LORD OF HOSTS?
Come and drink the water of life and you too can be His.
Read His WORD and you will know just whom JESUS is.

MERRY CHRIST-MAS
BABY JESUS
Imagine Mary and Joseph
holding their baby boy.
Imagine the love that filled
their hearts with joy.[1]
Imagine baby Jesus sleeping
peacefully in the hay.
Imagine the wise men following
the star to find their way.[2]
Imagine raising the baby who
would be Savior and King of king.s[3]
Imagine the angels in heaven
gathered on golden wings.[4]
Imagine the world at that moment
was filled with peace and glory.
Imagine that every generation
will hear of this wonderful story.

Newsweek has distorted Biblical teaching!
Newsweek magazine has published a lengthy article stating that the Bible supports homosexual marriage. The article was written Lisa Miller, Newsweek religion editor. Miller's article is one of the most biased and distorted pieces concerning homosexual marriage ever published by any major news organization. The article is much too long for this e-mail. Here is the website if care to read it. http://www.newsweek.com/id/172653
Dr. Albert Mohler has offered a response to the Newsweek article. I suggest you read Mohler’s article and then read Miller's Newsweek article.
Send an e-mail to Newsweek telling Newsweek you are disappointed with its distorted interpretation of Scripture. Forward this e-mail to your friends and family. They need to see how the media distorts Scripture to support same-sex marriage. Ask them to send the e-mail to Newsweek. Call CEO Thomas E. Ascheim at 212-445-5245. Please be polite.
If you subscribe to Newsweek, cancel your subscription and tell them why.

Olbermann's Appalling Video
THIS ASTOUNDS ME! I AM APPALLED BY HIS VIDEO
I ASK YOU.......
Where is this man's tears for the millions of babies being put to death for stem cell research? Where are his tears for those innocent babies that are viable and can live outside the mother's womb? Where are his tears for the Christians and Jews who are being persecuted and killed all over the globe? Where are his tears for Christian religious freedoms being mocked and outlawed in our own country? Where are his tears for the victims of the terrorists? I am appalled at his tears. Homosexuals have rights, and well they should. But when they want to take our rights away, our values, our moral ethics, our sense of honor - then there's a problem. Let them live together, let them love each other, leave them in peace. But don't allow the minority to rule or take away the Word of God......One woman, One Man - the Bible says in the OLD TESTAMENT:
ECCLESIASTES 9:9 - " Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of they vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun."
There are many more Scriptures throughout the Bible that testify of God's intention for marriage.
CHECK OUT HIS VIDEO...........Please tell me what you think.
